HOW TO ACCESS THE CREATOR MARKETPLACE

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite.

  2. Click the handshake icon 🤝 on the left menu bar.

  3. Select Get Started (or Request Access if prompted) and verify your business. It just takes a few minutes.

Once you’re in, you’ll land on the Discover page where you can:

  • Search by creator name, keyword, or hashtag

  • Filter by country, interests, follower size, or demographics

  • View personalised creator recommendations from Meta

You’ll even see creators who already follow your brand, which is the perfect place to start. They already know and like you.

 

CREATING LISTS AND ANALYSING CREATORS

You can save potential collaborators into lists like:

  • “Top Performers”

  • “Interested Creators”

  • “Potential Partners”

 

When reviewing a creator’s profile, focus on:

  • Accounts Engaged (not just followers)

  • Hook Rate

  • Interaction Rate

  • Audience Demographics (age, gender, country, city)

You can:

  • Add a campaign name, description, and deliverables (like “3 x Reels” or “1 x Product Demo”)

  • Set deadlines, compensation, and content guidelines

  • Choose whether your campaign is Invite Only or Discoverable by Creators

It’s basically a job listing for influencers and Meta will recommend creators that fit your brief.

 

PAYMENT, FREE PRODUCTS AND AD PERMISSIONS

When setting up your campaign, you’ll outline:

  • What creators will be paid

  • If you’re sending any free products

  • Whether you’re requesting Ad Boost Permission (turn this on)

That last one is huge.

It gives you permission to run their content as a paid ad.

Creators might charge a little more for it but it’s worth every cent. 

Instead of your ad disappearing after a few hours on their feed, you can use that content in your campaigns for months or even years.

Once your creator has delivered the content, you have two options:

  1. Partnership Ads — your brand + the creator both appear on the ad.
    → Builds trust instantly because their audience sees someone they already follow.

  2. Traditional Ads — you upload the content to your Ad Manager and run it as your own.
    → Gives you full control, flexibility, and scalability.

Both work but partnership ads tend to generate higher engagement because they leverage both audiences.
